Our dog walking service is ideal for a variety of different people:

  • those away at work all day
  • people who find it difficult to walk their dogs as often as they would wish
  • people whose mobility may be limited through age, illness or just inclement weather.

Papillon Pet Care can provide a service to suit you on a regular or one off basis, during the week and at weekends. 

We offer an individual walking service providing services for one dog or more if it is a family group.  This would match how most dogs are walked with their owners and means that unlike some services we are able to offer dog walking services to dogs that are frightened or less tolerant of other dogs. We DO NOT pack/group walk. An important part of our visit is ensuring your dog returns back home relaxed. 

Whilst with us we would always walk a dog on a lead.  We do believe this is the safest option.  All our dogs wear a Papillon Pet Care tag on their collars as added identification. 

Dogs are walked in their local area as far as is practicable.You would always be consulted on areas that your dog would be taken to for their walk.

Pet chaperone service 

Papillon Pet Care offers a chaperone service for your pet.  This service can cater for pre booked and short notice events such as visits to the vets, groomer and kennels.

The service can also be used where secure transportation is needed when moving house.

We offer a service where your pet or pets are accompanied in comfort and safety.

Please note our service is offered for the transportation of animals only and we are unable to transport owners with their pets.

Canine Bowen

Canine Bowen Technique is a gentle and non-invasive technique which focuses on  muscles and ligaments.  Even for the most timid of dogs it can be effective in that the small but precise movements promote healing and pain relief.

It has been shown to be very effectivein treating  both acute and chronic conditions. As a technique used both pre- and post-operatively it has been useful in assisting recovery times.

It has also been found to be of great use with dogs who are greatly distressed by the noise over the Bonfire night period.

 

Caroline Lowe has been studying Canine Bowen Technique with the European Guild of Canine Bowen Therapists, the only course recognised by ECBS.  She has a number of case studies to complete and is looking for volunteers to receive FREE treatments.
